Good morning everyone!
I'm not sure when I ususally type my annual New Year post but it certainly isnt at 8am new years morning however here I am! Munching on our traditional pastries we have every January 1st and sipping hot tea.
This year is slightly different, we have a new addition at the table! Baby Matteo! And what an absoulute JOY he has been. I am genuinely surviving on around 3 hours of broken sleep every night, my house is a mess, my face and hair are not a vision I want to see first thing in the morning however I have never been happier.

So, what are my resolutions...
Well I think I do actually have a few this year!
Firstly, I really need to take better care of myself. Not easy to do with a special needs daughter and a hungry, exclusively breastfed, needy baby however they both need me to be the best I can be so I owe it to them as well as myself to look after myself better.
On top of that, I am also a wife! No husband is perfect, mine says he's going to clean the kitchen and never does however he is extremely supportive and understanding of how EXHAUSTED I am. I hope that this year I can make some real money from my youtube platform and be able to give something back to him as he has really looked after me (and the kids) this year!!

Secondly, I really want to slow down a lot this year. Both my husband and I are set on moving to the countryside as soon as fate allows. We are hoping this will be our year. I can't wait to give my kids the life (and the garden) they both deserve. So many of you want to understand we would ever leave our beautiful house and its simply because its not working for the way we want to live our lives and I would happily sacrifice my big pink kitchen to live differently with my family!
And I still want an Aga so maybe a lottery win would be nice too ☺️
Lastly, Happy New Year to you all. Your unwavering support and kind comments keep me going and mean the absolute world to me! xx

Copying down some of your recipes just now and just read your New Year post. I’ve made a lot of “intentions” this year too, try and not buy any processed crap, was healthier and from scratch as often as time will allow blah de blah. You’re doing super as always, I’m praying you get the home you want and space for the kids and beautiful Raffa dog. I’ll continue to support you everywhere!
