How long do you boil your dippy eggs for?

Quite simply, 4 minutes and about 10-20 seconds. Usually I'm busy buttering toast or answering my child's questions when the timer goes off however this amount of time is perfect.

Now this only works for 2 eggs at a time and the water must be at a rolling boil throughout for absolute dippy perfection. I always buy large eggs however unless your egg is tiny or absolutely huge the cooking time will stay the same!

If you prefer your eggs a little more jammy then go for a solid 5 mins!
